Comet Pan-STARRS

This is a hard little comet to find naked eye! Anyway, here is a shot taken with my Nikon D7000 and Sigma 70-200mm F2.8.

Nice! Can't see anything from where I live, too much clutter obscuring the horizon. Hopefully ISON will put on a good show later in the year!

Nice Phil, got a few photos of panstarrs to on my blog. Are you having bad season this winter, not many posts from you here, terrible winter here in Iceland, always cloudy. Regards Jón Sig Iceland.

Thanks, Jon! Well, I am having a bad season because I purchased a new laptop and my ability to autoguide has gone. Every time I try to autoguide I get blue screens. It's very annoying when this happens and I'm out in the field. I've allocated some time this weekend to try and get it resolved.

Clear skies!

Nice! That's about what I got too. I'm gonna miss that little guy, it was my first comet since 1997. I can't quite pick up ISON yet, but hopefully soon.
