My Meade DSI turned up in the mail last week. Looks pretty nifty! I spent a couple of days reading about how to use it - not from the Meade manual, but other sites of folks who had different ways to use it with very good success. I took it for a test spin last Tuesday night but by the time I sorted out the software my laptop battery ran out of juice, I think due to the cold.
Now I have to get through Christmas and New Years before I can think about testing it again. Bummer. I might try it on the moon one night next week just for a test, but don't expect anything for about another month, when I can get the scope out to the COE site again.
