First time at this, and I shot it within a bit of spare time tonight after trying to image the Horsehead nebula (more on that later!)
You can clearly see the NGC2437 planetary nebula here. Not too bad!

- Imaging Scope: Astrotelescopes 80mm ED Refractor
- Imaging Camera: Nikon D7000
- Guiding Scope: William Optics 66mm Petzval Refractor
- Guiding Camera: Meade DSI-C
- Mount: Celestron CGEM
- Exposures: 3 * 5 minute lights
- ISO 400
- Aligned and Stacked in Deep Sky Stacker
- Post-Processing in GIMP (contrast, saturation and unsharp mask)

Excellent rendition, Phil! Congratulations on a nice capture! The star colors are very nice, and that little planetary came out nicely resolved and nicely colored. Looks like OIII!

Thanks, Val! I have loved looking at this object visually and was chuffed to see the end result after my imaging session. I did shoot it through part of the Austin light dome, so a better shot awaits later in the year...
This is one of my favorite objects. Nice work on getting the planetary nebula.
