Afocal Moon Photography

The shots below were taken this evening, just having a bit of fun. I manually held my digital camera (Fuji Finepix S3100 4.0 mega pixel) up against the Orion Stratus 13mm eyepiece and took some shots. These are the best ones that I took, but I only spent about two minutes taking some quick snaps! These present a wider field of view than the Meade Lunar Planetary Imager, but the surface detail for photos that were taken without a system to fix the camera in place is really not that bad.
