The Living End

So, after scoffing ourselves with Aussie meat pies, a mate and I went to see these chaps play. As indicated in a prior post, I was a year above these guys at my high school back home in Melbourne, so it was interesting to see them rocking it hard. They were pretty good, too! Very punk 80s, with some interesting messages in their songs. They performed in front of a crowd of about 100 or so, and the show was free (at a local record store). I chatted to one of the band members, and we also ran into a reporter from the Age newspaper, who was covering the SXSW festival and seemed relatively happy to be escapaing the chaos of the Commonwealth Games currently being held back home.
