ICG Report on Insurgent Activity in Iraq

For those interested in the situation in Iraq, the International Crisis Group has published an interesting report on the status of insurgent groups operating within Iraq. Their report is based on communications occuring within the groups themselves, and from their broadcasting services ('net sites, chat groups, videos etc.). It is also based on observations surrounding specific operations conducted by these groups. It's quite an interesting read, and its description of how these groups established themselves and evolved over the last few years is particularly worthy of note.
