Daughter's Solar System Project!
My daughter had a solar system project to do. She knew her dad would get heavily involved, and here is the result! We're both pretty happy with it! I took the opportunity to teach her how to paint things and basically put a project like this together, in stages. She was very interested and it came out nicely. If she doesn't get an "A" then there will be grief! ;-)
Dimitri - I very nearly added Pluto just as a matter of principle ;-) (I am old school). Would have been cool to have added the Oort Cloud, Asteroid belt and Kuiper Belt as well as a few comets, but I ran out of time.

That's a nice looking solar system! I'm sure she'll get and A++. :)
ReplyDeleteI dunno Phil...Is that to scale? :-)
ReplyDeleteGood looking solar system!
Funny you mention that. I did put a sign on it that read "Not to Scale"!
ReplyDeleteWhere is the moon ?
ReplyDeleteVery nice paint by the way !
Hope she gets a A.
Chers,

good article and offering niche space news
ReplyDeleteLove it! :)
ReplyDeleteHey Phil! This makes me want to build my own Solar System. No doubt in my mind that she'll get an A. Heck, I'd give it an A++ with merit!
ReplyDeleteHow about an extrasolar system?
Regards,
Ewan
Looks great!
ReplyDeleteIf the teacher's a Pluto lover, your A++ might be in jeopardy though :D
