As an Aussie ex-pat, it's been very hard to read some of the stories coming out of the Queensland flood crisis. No words can really express the feelings or emotions I am experiencing about the whole thing.
One story sticks out in particular. Read this article about 13 year old Jordan Rice, and ask yourself if you would have the strength, courage and composure to act in the way he did given his circumstances.
One of his family members had said that his story would go down without fanfare or remembrance - I beg to differ as do many others out there who are spreading his story. Acts like this, from people like this, can never be forgotten.
