Yep, that's right. It's a telescopic tree saw/pruner! Absolutely fantastic for trimming trees where needed to get clear views of the skies - umm, I mean shape the trees nicely so that they don't look too ragged! ;-)We have a couple of big oak trees out the back, and I have trimmed them recently to be able to view a wider night sky area from my back patio. The heavens have opened up for me now!
