Quick Moon Snap

I took this photo through my LX200 8", using my new~ish Fujifilm Finepix A800 digital point-and-shoot. It's an 8.3 megapixel camera.

Usual method; hold the camera to the eyepiece on the scope (in this case a 30mm, 80 degree FOV 1RPD eyepiece) and take the shot. I only took about three shots like this tonight and this one is the best of them. Slightly modified in Photoshop using the "Adjust curves" option.

Slick on the image for the full size.

I also took a shot of the "lunar X" tonight. Currently processing the image and will post it later.
