Well, after a few patient weeks I have found a good bargain on a Meade Deep Sky Imager. I should have it next week and shall test it the following weekend, skies permitting. I still need to get an equatorial wedge but having the camera is a step in the right direction for sure. I hear that you can take some "ok" photos of brighter objects without a wedge but it's an absolute requirement for long exposure photos. Soon hopefully I'll be able to start positing some decent snaps...
