Well, it's been a sad week for Australia. We lost Steve Irwin at the start of the week, and now this. Aussie race car legend Peter Brock was killed when his car apparently spun out of control and collided with a tree during a rally in Western Australia. The 61 year old was killed almost instantly. Peter Brock was without a doubt one of the finest race cars ever. As a teenager I used to watch him race his Holden around Bathurst, and he proved to be a terrific role model for so many people. Dubbed "Peter Perfect" for his perfectionist attitude to racing and "King of the Mountain" for his multiple victories at Bathurst, Peter was a brilliant sportsman and a caring giver to the Australian community, devoting much of his time and effort to various charities.
