Tonight I checked out Albireo, the double star in the constellation of Deneb, with the XT6 Dob. It looked really nice, with very clear color definition and good seperation (well, it is an easy double to separate). So, i'm still pleased with this little scope.
I decided to try a photo of it and here is the result. Same old method, hand held digital camera against the 6" Dob. Not bad, but not brilliant. Best stick to the moon with this method methinks!
Still, at least you can see the color differences.
