Why not! I set up my D7000, AstroTelescopes 80mm ED refractor and CGEM down the road from my house and thought I'd try and give the moon some HDR treatment. I took three bracketed raw files and merged them in Photomatix.After a little extra tweaking in GIMP and noise reduction in NeatImage, here is the result.
