Forgot Something...

One thing I forgot to mention in my Arkansas report was a pretty neat meteor I saw. It was around 12:30am or so. A bright fireball (or “bolide”) appeared from the East, shooting across the sky and leaving a nice trail behind it. Close to the zenith it decreased dramatically in brightness, changing from a fireball to an almost dull, solid object as it continued to move like mad across the sky. Towards the southwest it brightened again and became a fireball once more before dying off completely. It looked as though it had almost skipped off the atmosphere for a little while and then was pulled back in, and it was quite a site really.
