A few clouds = No comet

I woke up at 6am and had a look around through the binoculars for the comet. There were several wispy clouds floating around near Venus, so I knew my chances weren't good. Alas, no comet. The forecast for the next few days is so-so, so this is one I will probably have to experience through the photos others may have taken. :-( Such is the hobby of astronomy.
