Full Moon

...and this is the full moon shot I took a month ago, again with the 80mm short tube and run through Photoshop. By adjusting the "light curves" within Photoshop, you can bring out a little more color and contrast from within the original image. I also sharpened it a little using a number of different filters.

Again, these images were taken with a Celestron Short Tube 80 refractor on a basic EQ-1 equatorial mount (no motor drive).

Very nice pics! Next time you pass through town, I'll have to get you to come by campus so I can show you our setup on the rooftop of the engineering building. I'm holding observing labs for my students in about three weeks!
