Show and Tell!

Today I took the scope to my wife's school. One of the classes there is taking on astronomy as part of their science project. While I intended to show them the moon only, I was able to find Jupiter and decided to show them that as well. Granted, all they could see what is white-yellowish disc (I could still make out the cloud bands) but they were just thrilled. The moon was a hit, too. I think the best thing they enjoyed was seeing the scope slew to the next object. Anyway, hopefully I inspired some minds today.
