Double Cluster














Last night I attempted longer exposures through my LX200 mounted on its new wedge. Naturally, I left the polar drift alignment help docs at home, so I had to wing it. I targeted a few different objects, but so far this has turned out to be the best.

This is the NGC869 "Double Cluster" in Perseus. It's a lovely sight, visually, and I think this image captures it fairly well. Click on it for full size!

    Hi there. That sure is a great shot. The Sword Handle in Perseus really is a fantastic sight, no matter how many times you see it. Look forward to seeing more of your photographs.
